RADWAG Balances 3Y Series – New Functionality
Jun 06 2012
RADWAG offer has recently been revolutionized by brand new laboratory balances 3Y series. The new 3Y series is adjusted to clients’ needs and requirements, offering unprecedented operation comfort and even better functional features. Among them, there is improved user interface, new working modes, and more.
3Y is a series covering several types of laboratory balances, including:
MYA/3Y – microbalances
XA/3Y – analytical balances, professional level
AS/3Y – analytical balances, standard level
MAY – NEW series of moisture analyzers with touch panel
PS/3Y – laboratory balances, d=1mg , d=10mg
APP/3Y – high capacity precision balances, max to 50 kg
Balances 3Y series are designed on basis of RADWAG newest solutions in weighing technique. Among multiple innovations used in the balances 3Y series, there are several which need further presentation:
Upgraded immunity in accordance with the requirements of the new EN 45501:
Balances 3Y series comply with the requirements of EN 45501 and LVD directive, and ensure immunity level of: 10v/m, 2GHz.
Simple operation
Controlling operation of a balance is carried out with a modern weighing module featuring a colour 5,7” touch panel. The OS in the 3Y series is Windows 6CE, ensuring intuitive and simple operation, while simple and clear menu provides remarkable comfort of operation Detachable terminal enables adapting the balance to a workstation.
New functionality
Balances 3Y series feature a set of working modes dedicated to specific users, such as, pipette calibration, differential weighing, USP automatic feeder, mass comparator, and more.
The balance offers a set of 4 inputs and 4 outputs, enables network operation through multiple interfaces including Ethernet, and connecting peripheral devices to standard USB ports.
Analytical balances 3Y series comprise an innovative system for air buoyancy correction featuring built-in sensors for automatic calculation of buoyancy data.
User Defined Settings
User profiles of 3Y series are fully modifiable and, among others, enable defining user’s access level, standard and non-standard printouts, display content and dedicated soft keys.
Extended Databases
Increased memory of the 3Y series offers dynamic adjustment of memory content to each of multiple databases, including sections on: products, weighing records, clients, formulation, pipettes, ambient condition records, printouts, different types of reports, and more.
Automatic control system for ambient conditions, level status and autotest module
Balances 3Y series enable monitoring ambient conditions using internal and external ambient conditions sensors and modules. Additionally, balances with resolution 0,01 mg and 0,001 mg feature a built in atmospheric pressure sensor.
Balances 3Y series introduce a cutting-edge system of level control with visualization on balance’s display. Balance’s level status is also indicated on printouts and reports. The electronic level system is an innovation in laboratory weighing market, and has been protected by a patent.
An important innovation of balances 3Y series is the autotest system enabling balance’s self-inspection of repeatability using internal adjustment weight.
Quality - controlled and documented
RADWAG’s strict standards and ISO quality management systems ensure that offered balances have the highest possible quality level accessible on the market. Software of RADWAG balances enables continuous monitoring of carried out processes with saving reports on completed weighing processes in a database.
Therefore, an error caused by the human factor in weighing process is eliminated, and saved data are properly secured.
