Distribution Agreement to Supply Leading Scientific/Medical Fridges and Freezers Announced

Unitemp, is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement to distribute the impressive range of Labcold scientific and medical refrigeration, laboratory and pharmacy fridges and freezers, and blood storage products.

Including fantastic build quality and a wide array of features the Labcold brand is a preferred choice for the NHS and professional medical and scientific establishments looking to accurately maintain temperatures and log results. All products are designed from the ground up for the safe and secure storage of reagents and samples, medical products, pharmaceuticals and temperature sensitive vaccines, as advised by Public Health England in Protocol for Ordering, Storing and Handling Vaccines.

The range of storage solutions to be available through Unitemp is split into three main product categories, Pharmacy Refrigeration, Blood Product Storage and Laboratory Refrigeration.

All Labcold Pharmacy and Vaccine fridges are lockable refrigerators and automatically alarm if the temperature moves out of range. The Labcold Advanced Pharmacy Fridge range has been developed for busy hospital pharmacies and features stainless steel interiors. Labcold IntelliCold refrigerators are suitable for doctors and vets’ surgeries, wards, pharmacy shops and schools, in fact anywhere where controlled temperature storage of medicines is important.  They come in a range of sizes from wall mounted/bench top pharmacy fridges to free standing units and all have the choice of solid or glass doors.

The Labcold laboratory range of refrigerators and freezers has been designed and developed to meet the demands of scientific and medical professionals. The Laboratory refrigeration range includes Sparkfree fridges and freezers, including a fan circulated Sparkfree Refrigerator, cooled incubators as well as Ultra Low Temperature freezers. There are also sample and reagent refrigerators powered by the IntelliCold controller for excellent temperature stability.

Labcold Blood Bank Refrigerators, Plasma Freezers, Platelet Agitators and Incubators are all manufactured in the UK in full compliance with ISO quality management specifications. All products are registered Medical Devices in accordance with Directive 93/42/EEC; and are compliant with BS4376:Part 1:1991.
