Chiral Technologies, Inc, part of Daicel Corporation, have announced they will begin selling Daicel’s chiral reagents in the US and Europe exclusively through Strem Chemicals, Inc.

Daicel Corporation will launch a series of chiral reagents that include chiral ligands, chiral auxiliaries, and chiral starting materials. Due to Daicel’s proprietary knowledge for chiral separation and analysis, these chiral reagents are guaranteed to be greater than or equal to 99% e.e.

“Chiral Technologies is proud to work with Strem Chemicals on this worldwide launch as they are the leader in sales and distribution of chiral reagents and chiral catalysts. Strem brings their world-class distribution system and knowledge of the chiral materials field to this collaboration,” stated Joseph Barendt, PhD, Chiral Technologies’ Chief Operating Officer.

Ephraim Honig, PhD, M.B.A., Chief Operating Officer of Strem Chemicals stated, “Partnering with Chiral Technologies allows us to offer an expanded range of high purity and high quality chiral products from a world leader which should help our customers solve their synthesis challenges more efficiently.
