Techcode Looks to Assist Finnish Companies into China

Techcode Incubator, which operates in the areas of health, artificial intelligence and advanced materials has now established a new office in Helsinki, providing Finnish companies intending to enter the Chinese market and commercialise their products and innovations in China with another viable entry point.

“Finland is a natural next step in Techcode’s expansion,” comments company CEO Erica Huang. “The Finnish startup ecosystem is very active, innovative and productive. TechCode wants to be a part of it. We feel we have a lot to offer for the Finnish start-ups who are aiming at going global.”

The company has joint resources with China Fortune Land Development (CFLD), one of the leading industry operators in China. This co-operation offers assistance with all-around incubation, global resources and domestic industrialisation into China.

The company timed the launch of their operations in Helsinki with day two of Slush, (Dec 1), described as Europe’s leading start-up event held during the country’s worst weather season of the year. CEO Huang gave a keynote lecture at the start- up event, which in 2016 reported 17,500 attendees and 1 million live stream viewers. This included over 2,300 start-ups, 1,100 venture capitalists and 600 journalists from over 120 countries, seeking to drive business.

Techcode states that its aims are to break down geographic barriers and eliminate potential inequalities of international cooperation. With established incubation systems in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Gu'an, Silicon Valley, Seoul, Tel Aviv and Berlin, the company offers European and international businesses a global support network aimed at efficient sharing of resources and access to essential value-added services.
