Partnership Forged to Innovate in Controlled Environments
May 30 2018
A new strategic alliance, Professional Partners for Controlled Environment (PP4CE) has been established to create an international platform for innovative turnkey solutions in controlled environments.
The need for hygienic, easily cleanable and air-conditioned rooms is increasing - whether it is cleanrooms for the semiconductor or pharmaceutical industry, high care facilities for the Ready-to-Eat (RTE) food industry, or general laboratories in the chemical sector. In addition to a growth in demand for Controlled Environment (CE), the global regulatory landscape is becoming stricter and risk management is becoming more important. Senior management has to spend more time focussing on maximising safety and minimalising environmental risk; optimising cost control; also maximising availability.
PP4CE includes experts from across a range of technology areas, including STULZ GmbH, one of the world's market leaders in energy efficient temperature and humidity control solutions for mission critical applications, as well as general HVAC technology; and Brecon International BV, a well-known specialist Dutch company, representing over 25 years of experience in the cleanroom construction industry.
Other partners include: Camfill, a global leader in the air filtration industry; Assa Abloy, global supplier in door entrance technology; Deerns engineering consultancy; Bolidt experts in producing and applying innovative synthetic floors; Mennens Cleanroom Cranes, manufacturer of clean hoisting equipment; Van Aken Architects a provider of services in controlled environments and Denios, specialists in laminar and cross flow booth units and LAF cabinets.
With this combined expertise and wide global network, the PP4CE partners will create an international platform for this ever-growing Controlled Environment sector. The client will have a single point of contact, who will supervise and manage the entire design qualification process up to and including the implementation of the commissioning and qualification plan. This will ensure there is no loss in time, no need to communicate with different parties and result in a clear agreement on what is required and to be delivered, the organisation said.
