Bringing Enterprise Resource Planning Software to SME’s
Mar 16 2018
A collaboration between Flashnode (Helsinki) and Norwegian company Visma, has seen the integration of Visma.net, an enterprise resource planning software into Flashnode’s data integration ecosystem enabling seamless connections between the cloud-based services within the system.
Lennu Keinanen, Ceo of Flashnode said the co-operation is a great opportunity for start-ups to develop and grow their processes: “ Integration has traditionally been expensive and thereby only available to large companies, but we are bringing compatible data systems also to small and medium enterprises.” The data integration to businesses is provided by use of software as a service distribution model.
Matti Karppinen, a business manager at Visma.net added that the compatibility of cloud-based software is critical for all businesses whether operating on a global or local scale. "It is our duty to serve domestic small and medium enterprises as best we can. The Flashnode co-operation will provide our customers the opportunity to deploy Visma.net seamlessly alongside a web shop, point of purchase or customer relationship management software.”
Flashnode raised two million euros in seed funding in mid 2017 for its expansion programme with current operations in Germany and the United Kingdom and customers in six European countries.
