Aug 23 2016
Thermo Fisher Scientific announces it will bring Fisher Scientific ‘Science World’ to the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès in Strasbourg on 29 September 2016.
Science World is a well-established and popular event that began in the UK in the 1990’s. It showcases the latest in laboratory innovations with product demonstrations and is ideal for anyone who works in or around a laboratory.
This will be the inaugural Science World event in France and follows the huge success seen by introducing the concept to Germany with events in Berlin and Düsseldorf over the last couple of years.
Christophe Costa, Fisher Scientific Sales Director in France said: “We continue to intensify our focus in Europe through the Fisher Scientific channel. Strasbourg signifies an important catchment for us and means that we can bring our flagship event closer to our customers and serve them better.”
Science World will have a comprehensive seminar programme covering over 16 topics.
Yves Coppens, one of the France’s leading specialists in human evolution, will be delivering a keynote speech focusing on the history of man and giving some ideas of the current situation of the universe, solar system, earth, life and man, providing some insight into their future.
David Lowe, who is best known for his appearances on the popular French television show ‘On n’est pas que des Cobayes’ will also be delivering a programme of scientific experiments on the day.
