Analytica Vietnam surpasses expectations
May 10 2011
The continuing growth of major conference and exhibition events in Asia can continue to give confidence to potential exporters in Europe with major events reporting strong attendances. In many cases smaller businesses on fact-finding missions are able to take advantage of established support from industry organisations which host companies in pavilions, helping to drive down costs of attendance.
Analytica Vietnam 2011, Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre, Ho Chi Minh City (April 7-9) reports a higher than 25% increase on the number of exhibitors in pre-event statistics; this has been attributed to the growing presence of international and Vietnamese manufacturers of laboratory and analysis equipment and biotechnology companies underscoring the growing significance of these industries in the region, according to the organisers. Analytica Vietnam Conference will also promote dialog between industry and science. A workshop –Validation of Analytical Methods for FDA and EU compliance also takes into account Vietnam’s growing volume of foreign trade with European and other countries.
"We are very pleased that so many companies are interested in analytica Vietnam and feel that it confirms our decision to establish a Vietnamese spin-off of analytica," explains Susanne Grödl, Exhibition Director for analytica in Munich. "The Vietnamese market for analysis and laboratory equipment has grown considerably during the last few years. That growth is now being reflected by a sizeable increase in the number of exhibitors." Germany will be very strongly represented, with 35 companies at this year’s fair. The companies participating in the German Pavilion include industry leaders such as Binder, Brand, Eppendorf, Hellma, Julabo Labortechnik, KNF Neuberger, Netzsch and Waldner Laboreinrichtungen. The latest products and innovations also await visitors at joint exhibits representing China, France (organisers:UBIFRANCE) and Great Britain (organisers: GAMBICA) An overview of the exhibition highlights can be called up at www.analytica-vietnam.com before the fair begins.
