Quick and Easy High Resolution Gel Imaging
Aug 26 2008
The all in one system from UVP minimizes equipment on the laboratory workbench. Researchers can easily view images on the large screen and use the touch technology to control systems settings. The high resolution, scientific grade CCD camera and zoom lens enable researchers to capture high quality gel and plate images.
A variety of emission filters are available for fluorescing a wide range of stained gels. The monitor tilts with angle adjustment for optimum viewing. The touch screen capabilities make it easy to select various settings including integration times, saturation warning and print/save options. Save images to the computer, USB memory stick or connect to a network for transfer of images to a separate computer. The darkroom features a unique UV blocking viewing window for viewing samples without opening the door.
The wide entry door allows easy access to the transilluminator which is on a roll-out tray. Select from several transilluminators including multiple wavelengths or patented FirstLight UV Illuminator with highly uniform UV output. The modular design allows the ability to add optional UV modules for overhead UV illumination, white light plate for viewing Coomassie blue or silver stained gels, SYBR Green converter plate (470nm) and thermal printer with 256-gray scale archive quality prints. Add VisionWorksLS Analysis software when quantitative analysis of lanes and bands is required. Go to uvp.com/TS for more information.
