Mind the Air G A P: The Latest Innovation from Verder
Jan 29 2010
Renowned for its product innovation in industrial pumping solutions, Verder launches Dura Air GAP. A result of top notch engineering, the Dura Air GAP combines the best of traditional long and close coupled peristaltic pumps with some key special features that offer clients even more benefits. Traditionally, long coupled peristaltic pumps last longer than other types because the pump and drive have their own separate bearing and seal system. This reduces maintenance cycles and due to the resulting reduction in downtime, keeps costs down too. The long coupled design provides separation between the pump, gearbox and motor unit. In contrast, close coupled design offers the same pumping benefits whilst reducing the footprint of the unit the connection between the pump and drive is lost.
Mike Heap, Sales and Marketing Director of Verder comments: “The Dura Air Gap coupled peristaltic pump basically offers the end user all the benefits of a long coupled peristaltic pump in a class beating small package with some added extras on top. The results of this latest innovation provides longer hose life, quick and easy maintenance, long coupled design with close coupled advantages, and complete isolation between pump and drive with no contamination. These features in turn offer clients the benefits of total separation between pump and drive, each component having its own dedicated seal and bearing system in a 70% smaller footprint.
“We work hard to maintain our excellent reputation for product innovation in industrial pumping solutions and the Dura Air Gap is the latest development our clients across all sectors can enjoy to
make their lives easier.”
