New One-Stage Vacuum Pumps for Single and Parallel Lab Applications

For many years the one-stage vacuum pumps ME 2 and ME 2C have been widely used in chemical and pharmaceutical laboratories. These two diaphragm pump models are now available as new type NT-versions. With the well-proven VACUUBRAND diaphragm pump technology of the NT series the overall pump performance could be improved in regards of better ultimate vacuum as well as increased pumping speed. With the NT drive technology, featuring smooth running with minimised vibration, the new ME 2 NT and ME 2C NT are most suitable to serve as bench top instruments. The NT design characteristics in accordance with the corresponding two- to four-stage NT-pump lines are obvious.
Single or parallel applications with basic vacuum demand and medium gas load can be covered sufficiently.
Typical applications for use are vacuum generation for drying chambers, filtration and multiaspiration manifolds, as well as gas transfer and evacuation applications. With the VACUU·LAN® mini-network, as optional accessory, supply of parallel lab applicationsis an easy task. Both, the aluminium version with FPM double-layer diaphragm as
well as the chemistry version with PTFE sandwich diaphragm for aggressive gases and vapours, follow the proven VACUUBRAND quality standard with outstanding lifetime of wear parts and ease of maintenance.
In contrast to out-dated water jet and aspirator pump systems, ecological oil-free pumping needs no fresh water and avoids emission of contaminated wastewater.
