New Aspiration Handset provides User-Safety and is Fully Autoclavable
Oct 15 2014
New aspiration handset VHCpro complements the program of liquid aspirations systems from Vacuubrand. “The most important criterion when working with cell cultures is the safety of the user", said Achim Melching, Product Manager at Vacuubrand GmbH + Co KG.
With this maxim the complete family of liquid aspiration systems BVC has been redesigned. The reliable and powerful vacuum pump, the new non-contact level sensor for overflow protection and the quick couplings for the BVC professional together with the hydrophobic filter with 0.2 micron pore size are just some of the many features.
Consistently designed for safety and ergonomics, the new fully autoclavable suction handset VHCpro now complements the BVC systems. As a result of extensive testing, the developers have benefited from the feedback of many users in the laboratory to create an ideal working tool in terms of ergonomics, design and flexibility. Due to the flow through suction tube, the mechanism of the VHCpro handset is not in contact with contaminated fluids – only the tube to autoclave. The low weight of the handset also makes the work with the VHCpro user friendly. The smoothly operating mechanism has already proved its durability in an exhaustive testing program. A second mode, for permanent suction of larger volumes is quick and easy to switch to.
The aspiration systems BVC, with the new VHCpro handset and the comprehensive accessories program will help to make the work in the cell culture laboratory and in the safety cabinet significantly safer and more comfortable.
