Unique Paraffin-reactive Anti-human Cd19 Monoclonal
Apr 01 2006
CD19 is a 95 kDa member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is a characteristic B cell marker expressed from the early stages of commitment to B cell lineage, and on all mature B cells. It is absent from plasma cells.
CD19 has been widely used in flow cytometry as a specific marker of B cell lineage for leukaemias and lymphomas, and this antibody will now make immunohistological assessment of this important lineage marker possible in routinely fixed tissues.
MCA2454 is a multi-purpose antibody that also works well in immunoprecipitation, Western blotting and flow cytometry following cell surface permeabilisation.
