Advanced Automated Discrete Analyser at Pittcon 2017

Visitors to the SEAL Analytical booths (3943 and 4043) at Pittcon 2017 will be able to see the latest technology in automated laboratory analysis, including the AQ400 automated discrete analyser. In addition, the SEAL booths will also feature the new ‘SmartBlock II’ heating blocks.

The automated discrete analysers and segmented flow analysers from SEAL Analytical have been designed for high-speed, greater capacity, improved reproducibility and greater flexibility, and the AQ400 analyser is no exception.

Manufactured by SEAL in the US, the AQ400 has been designed to provide even greater speed and capacity, with improved reproducibility and greater flexibility. The AQ400 has all the advantages of discrete analysis; auto-standard preparation, auto-dilution, automatic method changeover and low reagent consumption. Regulatory approved applications (EPA, ISO) include nutrients such as nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, phosphate, Chromium VI, TKN, TP etc. in water, wastewater, soils, extracts and digests.

SEAL Analytical ’s range of discrete analysers offer minimal operator involvement and the ability to run many different tests on each sample in the same run.

SEAL Analytical also develops and manufactures automated Segmented Flow Analysers for those laboratories that require high throughput, accurate analysis with very low detection limits for large numbers of samples.

Pittcon 2017 visitors will also be able to learn about the new ‘SmartBlock II’ graphite heating blocks that simultaneously digest samples faster, simpler and safer than traditional laboratory equipment. The SmartBlock II range and their sample vials are all manufactured by SEAL under the Thomas Cain brand which ensures the quality of the digesters and the consumables; the vials undergo rigorous testing to ensure that they are free from any contamination, and they are fully compatible with the SmartBlock II range, so they are ideal for metals analysis.

With a new sleek design and a range that includes 36, 60 and 96 position blocks for 100ml, 50ml and 15ml vials, the SmartBlock II instruments are also priced very competitively.
