Training Compressed and Cryogenic Gas Users

Feb 28 2013

Employers and Employees must meet their obligations in respect of The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Section 2.2 ‘provide information and training to all who are exposed to risk’.

The required training for users of laboratory compressed and cryogenic gases is laid down in British Compressed Gases Association (BCGA) Guidance Note 23 (GN23) ‘Identifying Gas Safety Training Requirements in the Workplace’

Proactive Gas Safety (PGS) help companies implement and demonstrate effective control of their compressed and cryogenic gas systems by offering complete training packages. These are designed to do far more than simply train the end user; they actively support supervisors & Management to meet their obligations under this and other relevant legislation.

For each learner, PGS provides full & detailed records of training and achievement, Gas Safety Passport to HSE INDG 381 and the option of an EAL Certificate of Verified Achievement.

On-site training incorporates classroom and hands on practical training. On-line and Open Workshops are also available throughout the UK.

PGS has been independently verified and accredited by EAL (Excellence Achievement Learning Ltd), the national awarding organisation. PGS training delivery, assessment, quality assurance, customer support, documentation and procedures have been found to meet their exacting standards.
