Remote Communication for Temperature Control
Apr 16 2010
Leading the way in temperature control, Peter Huber Kältemaschinenbau GmbH has been manufacturing a range of low volume hydraulically sealed thermostats since 1991. They cover the temperature range of - 120 to 425°C with cooling powers from 450 watts at 0°C up to 24 kW at -60°C and 2 kW at -100°C. Now in 2010 Huber will be unveiling the next generation of modern communication at Analytica. Unlike the ComgG@te, which is standard on all Unistats, the New WebG@te offers users the option of communication via intranets and the internet, allowing organisation of complex temperature profiles and file process data via the USB Interfaces and Memory. In addition it is now possible to communicate with the Huber Thermostats using a normal mobile telephone by Bluetooth or Internet interface.
Visitors to Analytica can see a wide range of products including the popular Petite Fleur - the baby Tango, an entry level Unistat® circulator for applications in the mid-range - 40°C to 200°C. The Petite Fleur is 2/3 the size,
2/3 the power and 2/3 the cost of the Unistat® Tango. Despite the size, the Petite Fleur features all the benefits in performance and safety of a hydraulically sealed system whilst the CC Pilot Professional Controller and display provides the unit with full functionality. The powerful variable speed pump combined with variable pressure control and mircoprocessor technology ensures the best possible results. For those not requiring such extensive features, the new Huber Microprocessor Control (MPC) is a modern, low cost immersion circulator that has been purposely designed with basic functionalities - so users only pay for what they need. The MPC
immersion circulators operate across the temperature range -30°C to +200°C and combine with either polycarbonate or stainless steel baths to provide precision temperature control for a range of laboratory procedures.
