Online Photometer for Monitoring of Drinking, Surface and Wastewater

Aug 12 2015

Metrohm is pleased to present the new ICON Analyser, a dedicated online photometer for near continuous monitoring of critical parameters in any kind of water.

The ICON Analyser is an all-in-one system controlled via a graphical user interface and comes preconfigured and programmed for whatever application requested by the customer.

The new ICON Analyser is the latest successor in the long tradition of successful single method online analysers from Metrohm Process Analytics.

The main features and benefits include: very easy to use - just connect the power, sample, and reagent lines and the ICON Analyser is fully-operational; superior reliability - validation, cleaning and calibration are standard features which significantly reduce down-time and operator intervention; outstanding sensitivity & accuracy: depending on the parameter and

matrix, sensitivity of the ICON Analyser ranges from μg/L- to mg/L levels.

Among the many different photometric applications feasible with the new system, these are the most important ones: determination of silica (cooling water, high pressure boiler feed water, high purity water); determination of iron(II) and iron(III) (drinking water, surface water, industrial waste water, cooling water, high pressure boiler feed water); determination of phosphate (surface water, municipal waste water, industrial waste water, cooling water, high pressure boiler feed water); determination of ammonia (cooling water, surface water, municipal waste water).

Applications can be downloaded at www.metrohm.co.uk/applications.
