Julabo’s PRESTO represents an entire generation of highly dynamic temperature control systems. The PRESTO systems are designed for precise temperature control as well as rapid temperature changes, making them ideal for reactor vessels, material stress tests, or temperature simulations.
The PRESTO from Julabo represents the state-of-the-art for modern laboratories. These instruments cover a working temperature range of -92°C to +250°C with high cooling and heating capacity. Maximum heating capacity can also be adapted to fluctuations in the mains power supply. Highly efficient components give these instruments the ability to compensate for exothermic and endothermic reactions with extraordinary speed. The PRESTO units are extremely robust and work reliably even if the ambient temperature climbs as high as +40°C. The integrated cooling machine and an internal, cooled expansion vessel absorb volume changes in the heat exchanger.
PRESTO systems are ideal for reactor tempering
PRESTO systems can be connected to different reactors using the available Julabo tubing. For example the PRESTO A80. With a heating capacity of 1.8 kW the PRESTO A80 is able to heat up this 20 litre reactor from 0°C to +50°C in less than 90 minutes without any overshoot.
PRESTO are able to cover different applications
Whether your application is low temperatures or the fast control and compensation of exothermic and endothermic reactions: PRESTO can do it. With a cooling capacity of 1.2 kW (at +20°C) the PRESTO A40 is able to cool down a 20 l reactor from 0°C to -20°C within 1 hour 15 minutes.
Low temperatures – no problem for PRESTO
What's the lowest temperature that can be reached? That's what we test with our PRESTO devices and reactors from different suppliers. For example the PRESTO A45 can achieve the lowest temperature of -36°C even in a large 30 l reactor.
