VOYAGER adjustable tip spacing pipette saves labs time and money
Mar 10 2020
INTEGRA Biosciences’ VOYAGER adjustable tip spacing pipette provides a flexible solution for transferring samples from tubes to plates or 96- to 384-well formats. Various options are available, with 4, 6, 8 or 12 channels, to perfectly suit a wide variety of genomic, proteomic and cell culture applications. Tip spacing can be adjusted automatically at the push of a button, from 4.5 to 33 mm, enabling multiple samples to be transferred simultaneously in the blink of an eye – up to 12 times faster than traditional single channel pipettes!
One-handed, push-button operation allows parallel sample transfers to be performed with ease, increasing speed and throughput. On top of this valuable time saving, the electronic VOYAGER pipette helps to prevent pipetting errors – by reducing transfer steps – and decreases the chance of repetitive strain injuries. The intuitive touch wheel interface provides a quick and ergonomic way for the user to modify pipetting parameters, and a choice of 10 preset and up to 40 user-defined protocols can further boost productivity.
The VOYAGER uses INTEGRA’s unique GripTip pipette tips – for volume ranges between 0.5 and 1250 µl – which are designed to never loosen, leak or fall off, supporting reliable, error-free results.
Labs can now calculate their return on investment when purchasing a VOYAGER, using INTEGRA’s ROI calculator. This handy tool helps labs to calculator exactly how much time and money the VOYAGER can help to save.
