Industrial cameras with extraordinary sensitivity

Little ambient light? This is no problem for a sensitive image sensor like the IMX662. IDS Imaging Development Systems offers the outstanding Sony Pregius 2 sensor in colour or mono, and in a variety of housing variants. The new USB3 industrial cameras are attractively priced, making them a popular choice for embedded projects. The 2 MP sensor offers outstanding image quality and features an impressively high dynamic range.

New IDS industrial cameras from 145 euros

The new uEye+ XLS USB3 industrial cameras are part of the IDS budget range. They are just 29 x 29 x 7 mm in size. The 2 MP rolling shutter sensor (1968 x 1100 px, pixel size 2.90 μm) delivers outstanding image quality thanks to sophisticated pixel technology, and impresses with its high dynamic range. This benefits logistics as well as quality control in food and beverage, right through to medical and laboratory technology.

Maximum light sensitivity, outstanding price-performance ratio

Jürgen Hejna, uEye Product Manager at IDS, explains: "At IDS, users can get this sensor with anti-reflection coating. This means that annoying reflections - known as lens flare - inside the camera are reduced or avoided altogether."
The cameras can be easily integrated into a wide variety of image processing systems. Like all IDS products, they are characterised by a combination of "Made in Germany" quality, long-term availability and excellent user-friendliness.
