Hanna Instruments Inc Introduces Dedicated pH, DO, and EC/TDS/Salinity edge Meters
Mar 04 2015
Hanna Instruments is pleased to announce the release of HI2002 pH/ORP, HI2003 EC/TDS/Salinity and HI2004 DO edge® meters. The edge® meters are full featured yet very affordable and suitable for many markets.
Each edge® is incredibly thin and lightweight, measuring only half an inch thick and weighing just 9 ounces; blending elements of a portable and benchtop meter into a seamless design. This versatile design allows it to be used like a benchtop or portable meter, which can even attach to a wall to free-up valuable bench space in a laboratory.
In addition to its thin, lightweight design, edge® features:
- A large 5.5” LCD with a wide viewing angle
- Capacitive touch keypad
- Dual USB ports
- Cradle with swivel arm electrode holder
- Wall mount.
All edge® meters use digital smart electrodes. These electrodes are nearly as advanced as the meters, featuring a built-in microchip that stores sensor type, ID, and calibration information that is automatically retrieved by the meter once the electrode is plugged in.
These digital electrodes also feature an easy to plug in 3.5mm connector so you never have to worry about the right angle or aligning pin settings.
“The dedicated parameter edge® meters represent a growing line of options for our customers” said Paul Fabsits, Vice President of Global Marketing for Hanna Instruments. “These meters are an extension of the popular multi-parameter edge® meter that was released in 2013. The dedicated edge® meters allow for a customer to purchase a single parameter meter. It has always been important to Hanna Instruments to provide the customer with a choice when they are selecting meters for their measurement needs.”
The new single parameter edge® meters are available and can be purchased through Hanna’s new online e-shop or through any of our 60 international offices. These offices provide Hanna customers with local service, support and training and are part of Hanna’s goal to provide an exceptional customer experience.
