Hamilton Hygienic Sockets

Jun 10 2008

Hamilton hygienic sockets are the ALL IN ONE alternative to traditional 25mm weld-in-socket – armature combinations. It not only costs less and
saves time it also saves space and includes better built-in human and asset safety.
It saves cost because you do not need to purchase a separate weld-in-socket and armature. You save time because you only have one part to maintain. Thanks to a movable seal-pusher, control and replacement of the seal is easy and fast. The immersion depth of the armature can be
adjusted from 0 to 55mm in addition the smaller diameter allows them to be installed into smaller pipes and vessels.
The Hamilton socket diameter is 28mm compared with a standard weld-in-socket of around 80mm.
What has been done to improve the human safety?
As there is now only on e sealing point the risk of leakage is cut in half. In the event of accidental unscrewing of the sensor while pressure or sample is still in the tank, media will leak from the Life Guard hole before the sensor is totally released from the socket thread!
