New Cutting Mills

Cutting Mills are the most effective laboratory mills for pre-crushing and fine grinding of soft to medium-hard, dry samples as well as fibrous materials and plastics, so say Fritsch GmbH.

Their typical fields of application being:
rubber, leather, paper, cardboard, tissues, plastics, wood, non-metallic waste, coal, animal feeds (also pellets), maize, grain, confectionery, malt, farinaceous products, spices, dried meat, bones, horn, dragées, tablets, leaves, fibres, peat, roots, tobacco, cork, straw or film

Method of operation:
The sample is ground by a rotor fitted with blades which combines three fixed blades to effect size reduction.
Features of performance:
? fast, reproducible grinding
? different rotors to suit the cutting process appropriate to the sample
? cutting rotor and sieve cassette/insert can be easily removed without tools
? cutting gap can be externally adjusted
? hinged housing can be lifted up
? connection for exhaust system
? easy, quick and thorough cleaning of grinding chamber and components
? safety tested (CE mark)
? 24 months guarantee

Three different models with different feed particle size and throughput are available. The Cutting Mill "pulverisette 15", Universal Cutting Mill "pulverisette 19", and the Power Cutting Mill "pulverisette 25".

Fritsch also offers a cutting mill combination which consists of the universal cutting mill "pulverisette 19" and power cutting mill "pulverisette 25". The important effect is that samples with feed particle size of 120 mm maximum can be ground to a few 100 µm with in a very short time and in a single operation.
