CSI (Cambridge Scientific Instruments Ltd) are a UK company that design and build a complete range of chromatography instruments and accessories. With many years of experience in all aspects of the chromatography market CSI have used their technical expertise to develop a truly innovative range of chromatography products. CSI’s products are designed to be smaller in size, deliver faster and better performance and be more energy efficient than those offered by other manufacturers.

Products include:
• The 200 series COMPACT gas chromatograph: A small fully functional single channel GC that weighs only 7.5Kg, has a footprint of just 41cm x 34cm and a power consumption of only 800VA.
• The 300 series FAST gas chromatograph: An entirely new design of GC using directly heated columns for much faster heating and cooling whilst greatly decreasing power consumption using only 850VA.
• The TEA 800 series detector: A highly sensitive detector used for the detection of nitro/nitroso containing compounds.

CSI do not look to just sell stand-alone instruments on their own, but can also offer unique specially engineered chromatography systems.

These systems are designed to solve a customer’s specific problem that a standard “off the shelf” instrument can’t address.

By working closely with customers and fully understanding their needs and requirements both before ordering and after installation, CSI are able to design, deliver and support “one off” custom solutions to their analytical needs.

Installed systems include:
• Alternator gas analyser
• Bio-fuel analyser
• Low power GC for mobile laboratories
• Automated material analysis for solvent breakthrough
• Continuous online whisky process monitoring
• Multiple selective detection systems
