New UK Distributor Appointed to sell the Countstar Range of Cell Analysis Products
Dec 17 2015
Eikonix are pleased to announce that they have been appointed by Countstar to sell their automated cell counters and fluorescence cell analyser in the UK. Featuring ease of use, efficiency, accuracy and reliability, these products have been widely used in major research and medical institutions in various fields including biopharmaceuticals, beer and beverages.
The Countstar Automated Cell Counter is a cell counting and analysing instrument that has been developed on the basis of the classic trypan blue staining technique. The integrated advanced optical imaging technology and its intelligent image recognition technology make this product a leader in its field.
Countstar cell counters can complete an accurate cell count in less than 20 seconds and provide a range of output data including cell concentration, cell viability, average diameter, average circularity, diameter range and aggregation of cells in histograms. All this data is saved automatically and can be output in a range of formats. In addition, the Countstar also provides cultivation time chart (CTC), overlay analysis and other statistical and analytical functions. The system can detect cells as small as 5µm and has a massive 5.2MP optical resolution.
The Countstar Fluorescence Cell Analyser uses a range of fluorescence channels which, combined with a corresponding dye, provides a complete solution when working with fluorescent cells. Pre-loaded protocols and a single click operation produce rapid results.
Says Eikonix: “We are excited to have been given the opportunity of introducing these exceptional products to the UK scientific market. We are looking forward to working with Countstar and introducing their products at the 26th Annual Meeting of ESACT-UK in January 2016.”
