Isolation Valves Reduce Cost of Fluid Handling

Providing low cost, versatile handling of small flows of aggressive or high purity fluids, Bio-Chem Fluidics (BCF) offers its line of Bio-Chem Valve™ Solenoid Operated Isolation Valves. All wetted parts in BCF’s Isolation Valves are constructed from non-metallic, inert materials to eliminate contamination of the fluid stream through the valve. The valves’ solenoid actuation mechanism is ‘isolated’ from the fluid with a flexible diaphragm. This eliminates the need for the solenoid and casing to be made from high-priced, exotic materials, reducing the final cost to the customer. Valves can be configured for 2-way normally closed, 2-way normally open and 3-way operation, with orifice sizes ranging from 0.032” to 0.156”. Additionally, BCF provides a selection of construction materials (PTFE, PEEK, PPS) and connection types (threaded ports or manifold mountable), allowing customisation for many different applications. BCF Isolation Valves’ actuation mechanism is rated up to 20 million cycles to ensure a long service life.
