Flexible Enclosure Lowers Cross Contamination Risk and Improves Repeatable Results

Aug 15 2019

Laboratory drug discovery through experiments and innovation has helped battle viruses and disease throughout the years by supplying lifesaving vaccines and drugs.

Bigneat can assist by providing market leading enclosures to house customer equipment, instrumentation, robotics and liquid handling platforms.

Additional benefits of the bespoke range of equipment can include controlled atmosphere enclosures to promote the demand for precision works. The air within the enclosures can be Oxygen, Nitrogen, CO2, temperate or humidity controlled along with being filtered.

Bigneat Ltd has been working closely with leading automation manufacturers for over 30 years to ensure that the experiments and the samples are contained, protected and controlled.

Through customer feedback and ongoing innovation, the company have developed the ‘BCEE’ automation range of enclosures, the BCEE enclosures can be designed and manufactured to suit any manufacturer’s instruments.

Sizes of enclosures can be customised in size for smaller benchtop requirements up to large room enclosures whilst maintaining compliance with the customers’ health and safety regulations.

The experiments within the enclosure can be performed with minimum human intervention as well as the samples being manufactured and stored continuously for days, weeks or even months. All the instruments required for the experiments are housed within one controlled atmosphere which offers stable and repeatable results.

At Bigneat Ltd, the enclosures are custom made to suit exacting user requirements, however, a large portfolio of controlled atmosphere designs are also available which may already suit your needs without the need for customisation.
