A Jewel in the Lab
Apr 05 2006
Solid in colour rather than tinted, the excellent optical properties of the bottles make them the ideal choice for many leading scientific and photographic laboratories where photo-sensitive chemicals are used and light exclusion is a key requirement.
Available in a variety of formats for applications such as storage, media preparation and sampling, the Azlon Amber range includes dispensing, eye dropper and wide neck bottles. Barlworld Scientific also offer a one litre HDPE concertina bottle which is widely used with volatile or gas-liberating chemicals such as hydrogen peroxide. Its compression capabilities also provide a very useful means of minimising contact between air and any solution held within.
With excellent general chemical resistance, the fully autoclavable, leak-proof wide neck Amber bottles have easy-to-open polypropylene screw caps with a novel non-stick feature. They are supplied in capped, shrink-wrapped packs, and each individual bottle carries volume information and an SPI recycling code.
