New 4-digit Density Meter Sets the Standard in Measurement Technology

Mar 29 2019

The new DMA 1001 from Anton Paar shows that recycling old technologies does not work if you have the chance to create something unheard-of instead. The stand-alone density meter combines the completely new oscillating U-tube design with a newly developed measuring technology:

The patented Pulsed Excitation Method (AT516420 B1). This innovation delivers stable density results based on comprehensive knowledge of the oscillation characteristics. Thanks to U-View™ - a pin-sharp camera image of the measuring cell - the correct sample filling can be closely observed. Potential filling errors caused by inhomogeneous and viscous samples like crude oil and lubricants, bubbles, or particles are automatically detected by the FillingCheck™ feature. Up to 5000 results, including camera images and potential filling alerts, are stored in the instrument’s memory and ready for export and printing in various formats, ensuring perfect traceability for future quality inspections. Other features which simplify your daily work include the new unique one-point water adjustment.

DMA 1001’s rugged design allows for flexible placement, not only in the laboratory but also in production or storage facilities, providing the opportunity to save time by performing quick checks wherever you are. Furthermore, the instrument provides an intelligent condition monitoring system that gives warnings and recommendations for required action in case of challenging environmental conditions. The new user interface is self-explanatory and can be operated via the 7” touchscreen with the look and feel of a smartphone.

All these features are included in the new DMA 1001, a 4-digit density meter which is fully compliant with USP <841>, Ph. Eur. 2.25, JP 17 2.56, and fulfils all requirements of FDA CFR 21 Part 11. It is the ideal entry-level model for laboratories in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries as well as in flavour and fragrance production.

Experience the DMA 1001 density meter at work and see the benefits first-hand. Register for a free 2-week trial.
