Precision Balances Offer Speed Performance and Value

Jun 06 2012

When you need an affordable precision balance with smart features, solid construction and simple operation, turn to Adam Equipment’s comprehensive line of precision balances.

Designed to deliver results quickly and accurately, the series includes PGW and PGL precision balances and Highland portable precision balances. These balances incorporate the latest software, providing simple user interfaces for easy set-up and operation. All of Adam’s precision balances come equipped with RS-232 bi-directional interfaces for easy communication with printers or computers. Weigh-below hooks simplify density and specific gravity measurements.

PGW precision balances give outstanding precision for advanced applications at affordable prices. Features include robust metal housing, capacity tracker, levelling bubble to ensure accurate readings, security slot that is compatible with a Kensington-type lock and cable, colour-coded keys and GLP-compliant printouts for better record keeping. The PGW offers 18 weighing units, including one custom unit. Capacities range from 150g to 6000g and readabilities range from 0.001g to 0.01g.

PGL precision balances combine the features of a high-precision top loader with the versatility of a portable balance. Features include a removable stainless steel pan for easy cleaning, a simple keypad with dual highlighted tare keys, levelling bubble and capacity tracker. The PGL offers nine weighing units, including one custom unit. Capacities range from 200g to 30kg and readabilities range from 0.001g to 0.1g.

Highland portable precision balances have features suitable for laboratory work, field use, classroom and industrial applications. Highland has a smart housing design that lets users stack the balances for convenient storage and transportation. Other useful features include HandiCal™ internal calibration for fast, accurate readings; removable draft shield to protect against wind; and Adam’s unique patented ShockProtect™ overload system to protect against shock loading and accidental overload. The Highland offers 15 weighing units. Capacities range from 120g to 3000g and readabilities range from 0.001g to 0.1g.
