Customised Systems for Water and Soil Analysis

a1-envirosciences relationship with Gilson spans over 40 years. Coupled with our own application driven ‘know-how’ and purpose built software we have been at the forefront of the supply and support of a wide range of automated analysers in the UK and Ireland.

Systems typically include pH, conductivity, colour & turbidity analysers with dip or flow through potentiometric measurement for water and/or soil analysis. Fast high through-put analysis is achieved by taking up to four simultaneous measurements per sample using only small sample volumes.

Stand alone Ion Selective Electrode or volumetric titration systems expand the capability of the instruments to analyse for anionic or cationic species. Either of these capabilities can be combined with other measurements to provide bespoke analysers for individual requirements.

Previous applications include:

  • Fluoride, and Ammonia in water by Ion Selective Electrode
  • pH, conductivity and turbidity of potable water
  • pH, conductivity and fluoride content of drinking water
  • Creatinine in Urine by UV-Vis Spectrophotometer
  • pH, Conductivity & Nitrite in Coolant Waters
