Newly Extended Range of Volumetric Glassware

In response to market demand, the Duran Group (Germany) has significantly increased its volumetric glassware product portfolio to provide customers with a much wider choice of volumetric flasks, measuring and mixing cylinders. The new additions mean that DURAN volumetric glassware range now caters for the majority of applications requiring the high precision measurement of liquids.

In addition to being manufactured from highly resistant borosilicate 3.3 glass, the range offers the following additional features: Wide range of sizes in three accuracy classes (class A, class B, USP conformity), Batch and individual certificates; Printed certificates are supplied with the product and batch certificates are downloadable via the internet, Key information such as volume and accuracy class are printed in high quality ceramic for easy identification and long service life, Printed batch number on glass of each flask with batch certificate, Laser etched individual number on the bottom of each flask with individual certificate, new ergonomic shaped stoppers for easy opening and closing of flasks also feature coloured inserts for simple neck size identification.

The Duran Group is also very excited about the launch of the revolutionary new laboratory bottle system called DURAN YOUTILITY. This new bottle system addresses the critical issues of safe handling and bottle identification through the systematic design of the individual components. The bottles with their ergonomic hand grips are made of highly resistant DURAN glass, and are available in four sizes; 125, 250, 500 and 1000 ml. The user friendly screw closure can be safely and comfortably handled by all users, but especially by those with smaller hands or who are wearing protective laboratory gloves. The bottle bodies and closure feature dedicated areas for the attachment of self-adhesive identification labels. The innovative Bottle Tags fit around the bottle neck and allows the simple colour personalisation of bottles that are used in shared work areas.
