Chromatography
Improve your GC accuracy and reproducibility with one incredible tool
Aug 19 2014
One of the secrets of good gas chromatography analysis is ensuring your GC is set up correctly. This means ensuring your detector gas flows, split flows, and column flow rates are all calculated correctly and then set accurately.
The 7000 GC Flowmeter has been designed specifically for use with GC to address these problems and to help you achieve better chromatography.
The 7000 GC Flowmeter is calibrated for the 7 most common gasses used in Gas Chromatography (Nitrogen, Air, Helium, Hydrogen, Carbon Dioxide, Oxygen, Argon and Argon/Methane). With a resolution of 0.1ml/min and an accuracy of +-2.5% or 0.4ml/min it allows you to easily and accurately measure and set flows on your GC. Users can enter their column details and have the linear velocity in cm/sec automatically calculated and displayed. Split-flow mode allows a user to record the column flow and then measure the spit outlet flow to give a live display of both the split flow and the split ratio.
The 7000 Flowmeter is available to purchase for just £359.00 from

Ellutia are pleased to launch the 7000 GC Flowmeter for use in gas chromatography. The pocket-sized unit is compact (130 x 68 x 30 mm), lightweight (150g), features a built in rechargeable battery and a full colour display.
Accurate and repeatable gas flow measurements are a crucial part of obtaining good results from your Gas Chromatograph. The new 7000 Flowmeter makes gas flow measurement easier and more accurate.
We are very excited to be able to offer 7000 Flowmeter at a price point significantly lower than other models on the market. We hope that this low price will allow chromatographers who previously could not justify the expense of other higher priced flowmeter’s the chance to have access to this valuable tool.
