Avantes Offers “store to RAM Function” for Storing of Scans at High Speed
May 02 2008
offers the possibility of Store to RAM. This new feature makes it possible to store an high amount of spectra in a very short time. These spectra are saved in the internal memory (RAM) of the spectrometer before they are sent to the PC.
Implementation of the Store To RAM function allows the storing of scans
at high speed (as fast as 1.1. msecs per scan for the AvaSpec-2048-
USB2, and 0.1 msces per scan for the AvaSpec-128-USB2) in the spectrometer, without the overhead of USB communication.
About 4MB of storage is available, which allows for over a thousand full
spectra with the AvaSpec-2048-USB2 and almost 20 thousand spectra for
the Avaspec-128-USB2, or a lot more if the pixel range is reduced by
selecting the start- and stop-pixel.
Typical applications can be found in in-line high speed spectral analyses, fluorescence decay measurements, wafer thin film maing, and many more. For complete details, pricing and specifications, please contact us at info@avantes.com or visit our website at www.avantes.com
